| The announcement text: |
Mortgage processing services organisation based in Dartford, Kent require a permanent Test Consultant (User Acceptance Tester : UAT) to join the UAT team testing end-to-end mortgage processing systems etc. The main purpose of the role will be to prepare and assist in the execution of Acceptance Testing, manage and support business testers in the execution of testing. Duties may include analysing business and functional requirements to determine core functionality and test criteria, model systems behaviour, prepare test plans, develop test conditions, prepare, assist and support with the execution of test scripts etc.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate at least 2 years hands-on testing experience within a financial services environment, preferably within the mortgage sector e.g. mortgage broker, internet bank, mortgage provider etc and you`ll need to be familiar and comfortable with batch and real-time environments.
It would be highly desirable to have testing experience within a Windows NT * 2000 and*or RPG * AS400 environment, AS400 * RPG * SQL programming skills and exposure to web browser * XML * SOAP * Java * .NET applications and interfaces. Knowledge of Retail Banking Systems , AS400 and DB2 databases and the Original Automated Test Tools suite would also be an advantage.
Salary package is in the region of £17,385-£20,699 plus £2K London Weighting, bonus, 22 days holiday, contributory pension scheme. Based in Dartford, Kent. Commutable from Essex, East Sussex and London. To apply please email your CV to suzannemills@computerpeople.co.uk
